The Green Eyed Mermaid

She works in an aquarium, so I call her mermaid.
And she has got the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen.

A little trouble ...
She is just too far, in another world, oceans away ...
I wrote this poem for her ... only for her ...
And when I gave it to her ...
she told me that this is the most beautiful poem she has ever seen.
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!
And her green eyes are truely beautiful ...

The Green Eyed Mermaid

So deep you leave me in the ocean of your eyes
so true is the truth, that the truth never lies

The truth is I loved you, loved whole night long
dancing on the beats of your neverheard song

Now the music is in waves and the melody in air
but the singer is too far and thats just not fair

Though the lands are apart by oceans and much more
the symphony is still heard when waves hit the shore

Oh green eyed mermaid, come flying with these waves
and take me to your world in those fancy coral caves

Are these the lies or dreams I dream with you ?
but in your beautiful eyes ...
my green eyed mermaid ... my lies too look so true.
