Free as a bird (The Beatles)

Free As A Bird
Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starkey

Free as a bird,
it's the next best thing to be.
Free as a bird.

Home, home and dry,
like a homing bird I'll fly
as a bird on wings.

Whatever happened to
the life that we once knew?
Can we really live without each other?

Where did we lose the touch
that seemed to mean so much?
It always made me feel so...

Free as a bird,
like the next best thing to be.
Free as a bird.

Home, home and dry,
like a homing bird I'll fly
as a bird on wings.

Whatever happened to
the life that we once knew?
Always made me feel so free.

Free as a bird.
It's the next best thing to be.
Free as a bird.
Free as a bird.
Free as a bird.

The Rainbow

How can the very eyes of the truth ...
tell a blatant lie ?

The two shadows of the same me ...
which one to trust ? ... and why ?

Denial remains ...
and so does its denial.

The neverending struggle ...
to avoid crossing ...
the invisible line.

The truth is obscure ...
deceptive ...
and perhaps as impure.

The invisible line ...
is dotted ...
to allow crossing indefinitely.

Still ... I exist as one single truth ...
magically ... perfectly ... purely.

The rainbow of truth ...
presents itself ...
in its most true form.

How can this magical sight ...
even hold a slightest of lie ?
It is only
more beautiful ...
more sublime ...
more pure ...
and even more true.

Where the mind is without fear ...

WHERE the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Chasing the horizon

travelling everyday ...
the same road ...
the same direction ...
see cars come ... and go away ...
the gradually vanishing whistles ...
inviting a chase ...

the sky is just a mirror ...
reflects the same story ...
clouds come everyday ...
forming such wonderful shapes ...
every single one to disappear ...
with wind ... they go somewhere far ...
again ... mocking me to chase them ...

the beach ... the sea ...
play the same mockery ...
this time with the waves ...
the vanishing waves ...
promising to take me far ...
at the end ...
just a foolish chase ...

the whole world ...
is nothing but a mockery ...
an invitation ...
of chasing ...
making me run like a madman ...
to chase the horizon.

no ...
stop the chase.
dwell high ... way too high ...
among the moon and the stars ...
to realize ... once and forall ... that ...
there is no horizon that can be chased.

The Missing Piece

You and me ...
with our jigsaw puzzles.
yours harder than mine ...
and mine more subtle than yours.

Our puzzles took so many shapes ...
independently and together ...
some funny ... some serious ...
some so so ...
while some terrific ... yet incomplete ...
just an illusion of being complete.

The missing piece ...
yours with me and mine with yours ?
Do u realize the same ?
or yet another illusion ?

Rosy pearls

Every single drop makes ripples ...
not just on surface ...
but deep inside ... my tender heart ...
triggering the silken waves ...
soft and shining ...
impulsing the whole body ...
to go insane.

The rain comes again ...
its the nature which is calling ...
but raindrops have vanished ...
instead, rosy pearls are falling.

Underwater

In this new world I entered ...
No noise whatsoever ... only the calmness ... the steadiness ...
All motions are slow ... slow and rhythmic ...
Even chaos I make becomes rhythmic ..
.
Dreams just disappeared ...
or rather merged into the life itself ...
Green eyed mermaid ... I am amazed by your world ...
it is as still as your eyes ...

What next ? ...
Will I survive any longer here ... underwater ...
half asleep ... half awake ?

As long as you keep looking into my eyes forever and ever ...
as long as your twinkling dimples greet me everytime we meet ...
as long as you are my girl ... I'll live.
The rest matters not.
