Chasing the horizon

travelling everyday ...
the same road ...
the same direction ...
see cars come ... and go away ...
the gradually vanishing whistles ...
inviting a chase ...

the sky is just a mirror ...
reflects the same story ...
clouds come everyday ...
forming such wonderful shapes ...
every single one to disappear ...
with wind ... they go somewhere far ...
again ... mocking me to chase them ...

the beach ... the sea ...
play the same mockery ...
this time with the waves ...
the vanishing waves ...
promising to take me far ...
at the end ...
just a foolish chase ...

the whole world ...
is nothing but a mockery ...
an invitation ...
of chasing ...
making me run like a madman ...
to chase the horizon.

no ...
stop the chase.
dwell high ... way too high ...
among the moon and the stars ...
to realize ... once and forall ... that ...
there is no horizon that can be chased.

There is no poem in August why so?
You write awesome, I think "Missing Piece" was one of the best poems I read. Keep it up!
